Intel Core 200 Plus series in 2-3 months

A Chinese hardware reviewer who previously spoiled Intel’s plans for Core Ultra 300 series reviews also posted an update today on something else: the Core Ultra 200K Plus series, which was expected to launch at CES 2026 but was mysteriously absent.
The open secret is that Intel is refreshing its Arrow Lake desktop platform into something called the 200K Plus series. Naming aside, this refresh is not just for desktops. It is also expected to cover the HX mobile series. Golden Pig Upgrade commented on the recent 290HX Plus laptop leak and said the new series is not set to launch until March or even April.

This gives a rough outline of what Intel may launch in the coming weeks. This month Intel is expected to focus on the Core Ultra 300 Panther Lake series for laptops. In February, Intel should unveil the Xeon 6 workstation lineup known as Granite Rapids-WS. The desktop update seems set to follow a month or two later.
What is still not confirmed is the Arc B770 launch, assuming it happens at all. If it does not, the second half of 2026 could look quiet for Intel, even with the desktop and mobile refresh on the way. At least there is a roadmap, unlike AMD.
